  • Primary resources and activities

    1. Scriptures and Free to Be.  Weekly reading assignments and writing activities.

    2. Faith5 practice.  Conversation, reading, prayer and blessing.  With parent, family, mentor, journal.

    3. Worship and sermon notes.

    4. Service activities in congregation and community.

  • Individual fall and spring consultations with student and parents.

    1. Fall.  Getting acquainted with student and parents.  Initial check-in on Faith5 practice and service activities.  In September and October, completed by November

    2. Spring.  Review of the year, including Faith5 practices and service activities.  Discussion of future plans for faith formation.  9th grade students includes discussion of the confirmation ceremony (affirmation of faith).  April for 9th grade students.  May for 8th grade students.
